Handling Pressure & Stress Management
Day One of the workshop will consider how stress affects both our bodies and our minds and what we can do about it within our current environment. How stress affects our working and caring relationships and the implications of this on our colleagues, clients, friends and families. We will also consider our own coping mechanisms and offer suggestions on new strategies designed to reduce our own stress levels, increasing our energy levels, helping us to find a more balanced harmony in all that we do.
Day Two will consider positive ways of becoming more effective and less vulnerable to pressure and reduce stress exploring time management techniques, goal setting and life planning tools. We will consider the secret to preventing and coping with pressure by changing our mind set and re programming our own thoughts and reactions to situations.
Participants will be encouraged to move from a disassociated view of stress towards personal involvement, ownership and their own personal action plan for managing their own stress in their own way. The emphasis is on experiential learning and using a wide range of creative training methods such as Emotional Intelligence and NLP to draw out the full potential of each individual.
